Dr. Peter Verlic, Chairman of SEESARI have met mr. Matej Zakonjsek , director of Transport Community Permanent Secretariat.
The meeting took place on 18th November 2021 in Belgrade at the Permanent Secretariat head office as a follow up of SEESARI High Level Conference in Ljubljana. Fil rouge of the meeting was reopening of the Villach – Ljubljana – Zagreb – Belgrade train passenger line. Currently there is no direct connection between Zagreb and Belgrade.
SEESARI presented some technical solutions about possible time tables and single ticketing system for the smooth operation of the line. It was agreed that pilot project should start in 2022.
