The S-EPA Presentation Day, taking place on 18th April in Ljubljana, will be a perfect opportunity for informing interested rail administrations from across Europe about S-EPA – a new ticket booking platform which is being developed by SEESARI with the aim to continue supplying services currently offered by EPA (electronic ticket booking system hosted by German Railways).
For the past 30 years, EPA have enabled partnered rail administrations to supply various rail passenger services, such as offering seat reservations on trains operated in international passenger traffic across Europe and cooperate under bilateral and multilateral international agreements.
Since EPA is shutting down by the end of 2020, SEESARI decided to create S-EPA. The project is developed under the supervision of Slovenian rail passenger operator SŽ-Potniški promet, which will also be the first user of the new system.
