SEESARI extends a warm welcome to DB, Deutsche Bahn, as a new member of the initiative. The German railways recognize the significant link between DB and the developmental projects of the railways in Southeast Europe within the SEESARI initiative. As stated by Ralf Marxen, Head of External Relations in the Technical Field at DB, who is also the leader of Europe’s Rail Digitalization and Technology program at DB, during the introductory meeting with Dr. Peter Verlič, the director of the initiative, in Ljubljana, there are numerous opportunities in the future for collaboration between SEESARI and DB in the implementation of new technologies in the railway transportation and infrastructure sector. He particularly emphasized the European project DAC, Digital Automatic Coupling.
